MATTHEW GREEN APPOINTED HEAD OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2026–2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

Viet Nam Tinh Hoa – The Futures School is pleased to announce that Mr Matthew Green will take on the role of Head of School for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Mr Matthew has been closely involved in the academic development of VNTH through his role as Deputy Head Academic, working alongside the school leadership team and teachers to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning, refine the school’s academic direction and enhance students’ daily learning experiences.

As VNTH enters the new academic year, Mr Matthew will continue to lead the school community into its next stage of development, with a clear focus on academic continuity, student-centred learning and the growth of a connected international learning environment.

With more than 17 years of experience in international education, Mr Matthew has worked across diverse multicultural school settings, including Russia, Hong Kong, Viet Nam and other international contexts. He has held key academic leadership roles, including PYP Coordinator, Deputy Head and Head of School, and brings strong expertise in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).

VNTH is currently an authorised IB World School for the Primary Years Programme and an IB Candidate School for the Middle Years Programme. In this context, Mr Matthew’s leadership will play an important role in strengthening the school’s continuous learning pathway, where academic foundations, international mindedness, Vietnamese identity and individual student care are developed in harmony.

Mr Matthew graduated from The Open University in the United Kingdom, holds a PGCE from the University of Sheffield and has obtained UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). He has also completed a Diploma in Childhood & Youth Studies from The Open University and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University, reflecting his long-standing commitment to professional growth and educational leadership.

Guided by a student-centred educational philosophy, Mr Matthew believes that every student should learn in an environment where they are heard, encouraged to ask questions, supported in developing independence and guided to discover their own potential. As Head of School, he will continue working with the VNTH team to build a learning community where students are appropriately challenged, closely supported and encouraged to grow with confidence, kindness and resilience.

Under the leadership of Mr Matthew Green, the 2026–2027 academic year will open new opportunities for VNTH students to continue learning, growing and developing within an international education environment built upon a strong Vietnamese foundation.

Viet Nam Tinh Hoa – The Futures School warmly congratulates Mr Matthew Green on his appointment as Head of School for the 2026–2027 academic year.
