Exceptional Enrichment and Extra-curricular Activities
A North London Collegiate education is about much more than lessons; it’s an abundance of exciting opportunities and activities upon which our students thrive. We augment academic life with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, thereby creating better educated, confident students. Whatever a student’s interest – from climate change to opera, human rights to chess, literature to maths – NLCS HCMC will offer the opportunity to explore.
NLCS HCMC will offer a rich and vibrant extra-curricular provision across music, sports, the creative arts and beyond. Fieldtrips and learning outside of the classroom will enable students to broaden their experiences and will also develop a global perspective.
We will support our students in setting-up and running their own clubs and societies, with weekly meetings and events in order to give students every opportunity to develop their leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, independence of thought and a genuine love of subject.
The exciting array of intellectual challenges, physical activities, and social opportunities that students will encounter enable the development of a whole personality and the chance to discover their strengths and passion. Some clubs are led by staff, and some by external providers: they are fantastic ways to learn new skills, form friendships, benefit from teamwork and achieve personal targets.
We will partner up with Soul Music & Performing Art Academy (SMPAA), Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) and Vietnam International Institute of Sports (VIIS) to offer students a plethora of activities beyond the school day.
Creative Expression
Integral to a good education is involved in the creative arts, which develops the student’s creative expression.
Sports and Games
Sports offered on campus will include Badminton, Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Vovinam Martial Arts. Throughout the year, highlights of our calendar will include grade level concerts, art shows, sports competitions, and games
