Enrichment Programme

At Viet Nam Tinh Hoa by North London Collegiate School, learning extends well beyond the classroom. Our Enrichment Programme is an integral part of school life, offering students a wide range of structured experiences that complement the academic curriculum and support well-rounded development.

The programme is free of charge and designed to broaden students’ learning through physical activity, creativity, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Participation supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and cognitive development, while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Enrichment sessions take place every weekday, and the majority of VNTH students take part regularly as part of their daily school experience.

A Balanced and Varied Programme

Physical Education and Wellbeing

All students take part in swimming, delivered through a progressive curriculum in partnership with Australia Swim School, with a strong focus on water safety, confidence, and physical fitness.

Students can also choose from a wide range of physical activities led by specialist coaches, including:

• Multisport programmes with Vietnam International Institute of Sport (VIIS)

• Pickleball, football, basketball, yoga, aikido, and dance
  These activities promote coordination, teamwork, resilience, and an active lifestyle in a safe and supportive environment.

Creative Arts and Performance

The Enrichment Programme provides many opportunities for students to explore creative expression through:

• Visual arts, mosaic art, printmaking, handicrafts, and kirigami

• Music and performance, including beginner piano, hip hop dance, drama, musical theatre, and LAMDA exam preparation

• Creative writing, theatre games, film discussion, and storytelling clubs

These experiences support imagination, communication, and confidence while allowing students to explore different forms of artistic expression.

Communication, Media, and Language

Students can develop communication and presentation skills through activities such as:

• Public speaking and content creation with A.C.T Academy

• Newspapers and reporting club

• Radio show club

• Film and discussion club

For students who require additional language support, the EAL Club provides targeted assistance to strengthen English language development across the curriculum.

Technology, Logic, and Innovation

VNTH offers a range of enrichment activities that encourage problem-solving and digital literacy, including:

• Coding with Scratch and UBBU

• Robotics and app design

• Canva design

• Puzzles and logic games

These activities help students build logical thinking, creativity, collaboration skills, and confidence in using technology.

Academic Extension and Global Thinking

Students seeking additional academic challenge can take part in programmes such as:

• World Scholar’s Cup

• Homework Club, providing structured support and study guidance

These activities encourage critical thinking, teamwork, organisation, and academic confidence.

Environmental Awareness and Life Skills

Clubs such as Eco Club, Nature Explorers, cooking, and handwriting enrichment support practical life skills, responsibility, and awareness of the world around them, helping students develop independence and positive habits.
