With a passion for creating positive, supportive school communities, Mr. Declan Barney brings deep expertise in holistic, restorative behaviour policy reform. His approach? Building strong relationships and putting well-being first, so every student feels valued, safe, and ready to flourish both academically and emotionally.
Mr. Declan’s journey has been inspiring. Heβs previously worked as an Education Consultant in a major educational network, where he shaped behaviour policy and pastoral care. He has also thrived in dynamic roles, including as a Head of STEAM in Hong Kong, leading curriculum innovation and authoring a case study published in Bloomsburyβs “Why Do Teachers Need to Know About Child Development?” Within Vietnam, Mr. Declan has worked for a large educational chain as a consultant, leader and teacher.
With STEAM training from MIT, and a First Class degree from the University of Plymouth, Mr. Declan’s expertise in both student learning and pastoral care ensures our students get the best of both worlds β academic rigor and a warm, caring environment.
