The best way to understand and experience our school is to attend our admissions events and open days or make an appointment to visit Viet Nam Tinh Hoa during the week. Individual visits are bookable on a first come, first served basis. Our events will be announced on Viet Nam Tinh Hoa website, and we encourage parents to register for participation as some events may have limited capacity.
Viet Nam Tinh Hoa reserves the right to close applications for particular year groups earlier than planned, and without notice, if demand is high. We therefore always recommend an early application.
We are happy to receive applications throughout the year. Applications can be emailed or delivered to us directly and will be processed on a first come, first served basis with the following:
Application form.
A non-refundable application fee (currently 3,000,000VND).
The following document should be sent to the admissions office:
- Two passport photos (4×6) of the student.
- A copy of birth certificate or passport of the student
- A copy of kindergarten reports (Grade 1 applicants, if applicable)
- A copy of school academic transcript of two previous years (Grade 2 and above)
- School transfer documents (if students transfer school in the middle of the academic year)
- A copy of immunization record
- A notarised copy of family residence book or parent’s registration documents
- A notarised copy of parents’ identity cards or passports
- A copy of previous learning support or other special needs documents (if applicable)
- Notarised translations if documents are not in Vietnamese or English
- A completed medical form
All applicants are required to complete an admissions assessment to establish academic potential and suitability. Once the application fee has been paid and all required documents have been reviewed by the admissions office, an appointment will be made for an admissions assessment.
Grade 1: Group/individual observation (and an interview when needed).
Grade 2 and above: Admissions tests (and an interview when needed).
If there are circumstances that require online assessment, further information will be provided to parents.
Final decisions regarding entry are made at the sole discretion of the Head of Junior School who will liaise with the admissions team to make a decision for each applicant. Within three days of the assessment, you will be contacted by the Admissions Office, on behalf of the Head of Junior School to inform you of the admissions decision and next steps.
Offer
If an applicant qualifies and there are available places, the applicant will receive an offer. The offer includes an Acceptance Letter, a checklist of required documents and payment details.
Waiting list
If an applicant qualifies and there is no space available, the applicant will be added to the waiting list.
No offer
Applicants may not reapply for the same year of entry. Applicants can reapply for a future academic year but will be required to restart the admissions process.
Parents should accept the offer by the deadline stated on the offer letter by returning a signed copy of the acceptance letter and all requested paperwork together with payment of fees. Once the deadline has passed, the offer will no longer be valid, and the place will be offered to other applicants.
