The Arts
At NLCS HCMC, we believe that it is important to develop a student’s ability for creative expression through the arts, a skill which will guide her throughout her life in whatever career or pathway she may choose.
Drama, music and art, as well as being taught as part of the curriculum, will be part of the well-rounded extra-curricular programme. For students who wish to explore their own interests in the arts and sports or need personalised lessons, our partners at Soul Music & Performing Art Academy (SMPAA), Vietnam International Institute of Sport (VIIS) and Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA) offer classes and lessons beyond the school day.
Sports and Games
Sports offered on campus may include Badminton, Basketball, Climbing, Gymnastics, Football, Martial Arts, Table Tennis, and Volleyball

Students will have access to Soul Music and Performing Arts Academy (SMPAA), Vietnam Contemporary Visual Arts Academy (VCVAA), and Vietnam International Institute of Sports (VIIS), excellence and creativity are fostered as our students become critical thinkers.
Talent Identification and Development Programme
A North London Collegiate education is about much more than lessons; it’s an abundance of exciting opportunities and activities upon which our students thrive.
Our schools offer a rich and vibrant extra-curricular provision across music, drama, sports, the creative arts and beyond. Field-trips and learning outside of the classroom will enable students to broaden their experiences and will also develop a global perspective.
We will support our students in setting-up and running their own clubs and societies, with weekly meetings and events in order to give students every opportunity to develop their leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, independence of thought and a genuine love of subject.
The exciting array of intellectual challenges, physical activities and social opportunities that students will encounter enable the development of a whole personality and the chance to discover their strengths and passion. Some clubs are led by older students, others by staff, and some by external providers: they are fantastic way to learn new skills, form friendships, benefit from teamwork and achieve personal targets.
Throughout the year, highlights of our calendar will include subject weeks, large-scale theatrical productions, concerts, art shows, sports competitions and games.
Sports offered on campus may include: Badminton, Basketball, Dance, Football, Table Tennis, Volleyball, and Vietnamese Martial Arts (Vovinam).
