National Curriculum for England and IB PYP

Our curriculum meets all the requirements of the National Curriculum for England, ensuring a strong academic foundation across all key subjects. As an authorised school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP)*, we are committed to fostering inquiry-based, internationally minded learners. We share the IB’s philosophy, a dedication to providing challenging, high-quality programmes of international education that align with the shared vision of Vietnam Tinh Hoa.

In addition, we integrate Vietnamese language and cultural studies, enabling students to develop a deep appreciation of their heritage while preparing them to thrive in a global context.

Inspirational Teaching

At Viet Nam Tinh Hoa, we recruit highly qualified teachers from both Vietnam and around the world who inspire a lifelong love of learning. Our educators are chosen for their passion, professionalism, and dedication to nurturing curiosity and discovery.

Teachers encourage students to explore beyond the curriculum, fostering personal interests and academic excellence. Viet Nam Tinh Hoa is a vibrant and purposeful community where students and staff build warm, respectful relationships, and every individual is valued. Through our partnership with NLCS, all teachers receive ongoing professional development to uphold the highest standards of international education.

Beyond the Classroom

A Viet Nam Tinh Hoa education extends far beyond the classroom. Our junior school offers a rich programme of extracurricular activities in music, drama, sport, and the creative arts. Learning is further enhanced through field trips and outdoor experiences that broaden students’ perspectives and nurture a global outlook.

With opportunities that challenge the intellect, develop physical skills, and encourage social growth, students are empowered to explore their strengths, develop character, and pursue their passions. Clubs are led by teachers, with additional enrichment provided by external specialists.

Dual Language Immersion

Viet Nam Tinh Hoa implements a dual language immersion approach, with lessons taught in both Vietnamese and English. In Grades 1 to 3, each class is supported by two teachers: one teaching in Vietnamese and one in English. As students progress through Grades 4 and 5, a greater proportion of instruction takes place in English while maintaining strong support from Vietnamese-fluent teachers. This ensures continued fluency and a deep connection to Vietnamese language, culture, and history.
